Nominates Officer Reynard Robinson of the Huntsville Police Department for the 2015 Alabama Legislative Medal of Honor for Law Enforcement, Alabama's highest law enforcement award for extraordinary courage in the line of duty.

Recognizes Officer Robinson's actions on April 4, 2014, when he responded with Officer Jason Moore to a domestic dispute and came under fire from an armed offender who shot Officer Moore in the face, neck, and shoulder.

Commends Officer Robinson for taking cover behind a tree, returning fire on the offender, and providing cover fire that allowed the severely injured Officer Moore to escape safely while the armed offender remained a threat.

Credits the quick thinking and courageous determination of Officers Robinson and Moore with playing a vital role in detaining a highly dangerous offender during a conflict that lasted several hours and ended with the offender's death.

Directs that Officer Robinson receive a copy of the resolution as evidence of the legislature's admiration and esteem.
