Officer Hall, while off-duty shopping in Trussville, Alabama on November 16, 2014, witnessed an armed robbery and drew his personal weapon to intervene.

Hall strategically managed a hostage situation where an armed suspect held a store clerk at gunpoint, eventually forcing the suspect to flee without violence.

Hall demonstrated courage by confronting the armed gunman without backup communications or protective equipment when two children were about to enter the store.

The House of Representatives directs that Officer Hall receive a copy of this resolution as recognition of his extraordinary courage and actions in the line of duty.
