• Officer Heflin entered the burning residence without hesitation and located Keith Harris in the kitchen through heavy smoke; Harris was confused and suffering from smoke inhalation.

• Officer Heflin safely evacuated Harris from the residence by grabbing him and placing his arms over his shoulders before leading him out, after which Decatur Fire and Rescue treated Harris and extinguished the blaze.
