Expresses condolences for the death of Mr. Philip "Phil" Sylvester Tyus, Sr. of Mobile, Alabama on April 23, 2015, at age 77.

Recognizes his career as a retired Marketing and Sales Executive of Scott Paper Company in Pennsylvania and retired Executive Director of 100 Black Men of Greater Mobile, Inc.

Acknowledges his involvement with 100 Black Men of Greater Mobile, Inc., Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Mobile County Democratic Party, Mobile Area Education Foundation Board, Mobile County Industrial Development Board, and U.J. Robinson Memorial Center Board.

Identifies surviving family members including his wife of 51.5 years (Odette), three children, four grandchildren, one brother, and sister-in-law.

Offers this resolution as tribute to his legacy and extends heartfelt sympathy to his family and friends.
