Commends Officers Jason Moore and Reynard Robinson of the Huntsville Police Department as recipients of the 2015 Alabama Legislative Medal of Honor for Law Enforcement, the state's highest law enforcement award for extraordinary courage in the line of duty.

Recognizes their actions on April 4, 2014, when they expertly and courageously responded to a domestic dispute involving a highly volatile offender who shot Officer Moore in the face, neck, and shoulder.

Officer Moore, despite severe injuries requiring immediate medical attention, returned fire on the offender while Officer Robinson provided cover fire to enable Moore's safe evacuation.

The SWAT team secured the inner perimeter and evacuated Officer Robinson; the standoff lasted several hours and resulted in the offender's death.

Directs that a copy of the resolution be provided to both officers as evidence of the House's admiration and esteem.
