West Limestone High School Wildcats won the Class 4A State Basketball Championship on February 27, 2015, defeating Westminster Christian Academy 53-42 at the Birmingham Jefferson Civic Center.

Team finished the season with a record of 33-3 and won the Northwest Regional 4A Championship, Area 15 4A Championship, and Limestone County Championship.

Outstanding senior players recognized include Zane Griffin, Grant Baugher, Hunter Morgan, Jacob Martin, David Hinds, Jeremy Romine, Jake Smith, and Jordan McKelroy.

Head Coach Justin Taylor and Assistant Coach Jordan Paul received recognition for their leadership, dedication, and discipline in coaching the team.

House of Representatives recognizes and commends the West Limestone High School Wildcats Basketball Team, with a copy of the resolution directed to be displayed at the school.
