Commends Mike Chappell for 31 years of professional service in education and his retirement.

Recognizes Chappell's direction of more than 60 plays at Huntsville High School and Butler High School, and his appearances in more than 30 plays.

Notes that Chappell's final production was "Once Upon A Mattress" in spring 2015, the same play he directed 15 years earlier as his first production.

Credits Chappell with developing high school students into accomplished actors and serving as a role model through his intense, inspiring approach to theater education.
