Commends Lupe Serrano of Montevallo, Alabama for heroic rescue actions on May 22, 2015 at Perdido Beach.

Serrano, a recent Montevallo High School graduate, and three fellow graduates (Kayla Smith, Meredith Goggins, and Katie Hamrick) swam into the ocean to rescue three young girls who were 30-40 feet out in the water and in distress.

Paramedics performed CPR on the two older rescued girls before they were flown to Sacred Heart Hospital; the youngest girl did not require hospitalization.

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to Lupe Serrano in admiration and appreciation for her quick thinking and selfless actions that saved three lives from drowning.
