Commends the Alabama Federation of Women's Clubs (AFWC) for its dedicated public service and volunteer efforts over more than 120 years.

Recognizes the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC), organized on April 24, 1890, celebrating its 125th anniversary with the AFWC chartered into the GFWC in 1907.

Acknowledges GFWC and AFWC's historical advocacy roles including support for child labor laws, the Pure Food and Drug Act, the Violence Against Women Act, the Lily Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, national parks, and public libraries.

Notes AFWC's current membership of 1,500 members across 55 clubs under President Jackie S. Clark, with documented volunteer hours during 2014 and support for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama.

Directs that a copy of the resolution be provided to AFWC for appropriate presentation and display.
