Red Bay Girls Basketball Team won the 2015 AHSAA Class 2A Girls State Championship with a 34-29 victory over Geneva County.

Team achieved an overall record of 26-9 and won multiple championships including Kossuth Mississippi Invitational, Franklin County, Area 15, and Northwest Regional titles.

Team roster included 15 players: Morgan Pierce, Hope Cook, Hannah McKinney, Danielle Hastings, Holly Hardin, Katie Burks, Brooklyn Bolton, Allie Kennedy, Darby Madden, Carlee Humphres, Jordan McKinney, Autumn Higginbottom, Carlee Lindley, Brooke Shewbart, and Savannah Shaw.

Head Coach Donnie Roberts and Assistant Coach John Torisky provided leadership, with team manager Lacy Faulkner.

House of Representatives commends the Red Bay Girls Basketball Team and directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to each coach and player.
