Commends the Escambia Academy Football Team on winning the 2014 AISA State Championship with a 35-28 victory over Bessemer Academy.

Highlights team achievements including a 11-1 overall record, most wins in school history, over 4,000 rushing yards, and shutting out opponents on defense in five games.

Notes the team rallied from a 28-14 deficit to defeat Bessemer Academy and defeated Monroe Academy for the first time in 16 years, ending Monroe Academy's seven-year streak without a region play loss.

Recognizes Head Coach Hugh Fountain and assistant coaches Mickey Cannon, Adam Dawe, John Gartman, Marty Long, J.P. Sawyer, Marquino Siler, Cale Thompson, Colby White, and David Williams for their leadership.

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to the Escambia Academy Football Team in recognition of their achievements.
