Commends Charles R. Ward for outstanding professional achievement in law enforcement and public service.

Recognizes Ward's service as Captain of the Department of Public Safety (Dothan HP Troop Commander) and previous roles including Montgomery HP Troop Commander, Protective Services Assistance Division Chief, and Office of Inspection Unit Commander.

Honors Ward's 1987 Trooper of the Year award from the Dothan Optimist Club, 2005 Alabama Law Enforcement Officer of the Year from the Alabama Attorney General, and safe driving awards (5, 10, and 15 years) from the Department of Public Safety.

Acknowledges Ward's volunteer firefighter service, executive board membership with the Wiregrass Chapter of the American Red Cross and Ft. Rucker Mast Council since 1987, and active roles at Southside Baptist Church in Ozark.

Declares Ward highly honored and commended by the Alabama House of Representatives for his tireless dedication to the protection and preservation of lives.
