SB168 Summary

• Authorizes the sale of draft or keg beer or malt beverages by properly licensed retail licensees of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board in the City of Fort Payne, DeKalb County.

• Applies all existing resolutions and ordinances governing the sale, consumption, and possession of bottled or canned beer in Fort Payne to draft or keg beer and malt beverages.

• Permits the Fort Payne City Council to adopt an ordinance to regulate the sale of draft or keg beer or malt beverages.

• Becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor.
