• Member Number Four is elected by Active and Retired Members of the System with an initial one-year term, followed by three-year terms thereafter.

• Maintains the five-member Pension Board structure with specified appointment methods: Member One appointed by county governing body, Member Two by Probate Judge, Member Three elected by Jefferson County Personnel Board, and Members Four and Five elected by Active and Retired Members.

• Act becomes effective upon approval by the Governor or upon otherwise becoming law.
