• Amends Section 24-6-3 of the Code of Alabama 1975 to modify the composition and operations of the Alabama Manufactured Housing Commission advisory board.

• Changes the nominating organization name from "Alabama Manufactured Housing Institute Association" (AMHI) to "Alabama Manufactured Housing Association" (AMHA) for submitting industry member nominees.

• Reduces minimum annual advisory board meetings from four to two times per year, while maintaining the requirement for five business days' notice before regular meetings.

• Adds a new diversity requirement stating that advisory board membership shall reflect the geographical, gender, racial, and ethnic diversity of the state without regard to party affiliation.

• Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
