Each city council in a municipality located in Blount County may authorize retail licensees of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board to sell, dispense, or distribute draft beer by ordinance.

The authorization is optional and left to individual city councils in Blount County municipalities where alcoholic beverage sales are already allowed.

The act became effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor.

Senate passed the bill on April 30, 2015; House passed the bill on May 14, 2015.
