Prohibits employers from discriminating against prospective employees solely based on veteran status under Alabama state law.

Defines a veteran as a current or former member of the U.S. Armed Forces, reserve components, Alabama National Guard, or National Guard reserve components.

Allows employers to apply qualification standards or selection criteria that screen out veterans with disabilities if shown to be job-related, consistent with business necessity, and cannot be accommodated reasonably.

Authorizes the Department of Veterans' Affairs to investigate complaints, hold administrative hearings, and issue orders requiring employer restitution, hiring of aggrieved veterans, or other appropriate relief.

Permits either the veteran or department to appeal hearing outcomes to circuit court in the county where the veteran resides; requires employers to provide accessible notice of anti-discrimination protections.
