Authorizes municipal judges and magistrates in the City of Vestavia Hills to assess a $100 warrant recall fee for defendants seeking to recall a failure to appear warrant for municipal ordinance violations.

Fee must be paid by the defendant at the time the warrant is recalled.

Warrant recall remains discretionary with the judge or magistrate; the city is not required to recall any warrant.

All warrant recall fees collected shall be deposited into the City of Vestavia Hills Corrections Fund and allocated in conformity with Section 11-47-7.1 of the Code of Alabama 1975.

Act becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor.
