• Amends Section 45-22-90 of the Code of Alabama 1975 to modify the membership structure of the Cullman County Community Development Commission by replacing the rotating mayor provision with a single member appointed by the legislative delegation who serves as chair.

• Commission continues to include one member appointed by the state Senator representing Cullman County and one member appointed by each of the three House members representing the county.

• Commission receives and distributes funds from the Community Development Fund for purposes of economic and community development, education, conservation, and fire protection by majority vote.

• Authorizes the commission to spend up to $300 per year for office supplies necessary to operate.

• Act becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
