Commends Laurie Presley of Matthews Elementary School on being named a Tuscaloosa County School System nominee for the Jacksonville State University Teacher Hall of Fame.

Recognizes that Laurie Presley was among 68 teachers from the Tuscaloosa County School System honored at the annual preliminary award ceremony for the Alabama Teacher of the Year and Jacksonville State University Teacher Hall of Fame.

Notes that five teachers were selected from the 68 honored teachers to represent Tuscaloosa County as nominees for state competitions.

Acknowledges Presley's commitment to excellence and dedication to helping students achieve their potential and enriching the lives of Alabama's young people through education.

Senate resolution passed on March 10, 2015, amended and adopted by House on March 17, 2015, with Senate concurrence.
