Amends Section 12-13-9 of the Code of Alabama 1975 to grant probate judges expanded contempt powers in counties where probate court has concurrent equity jurisdiction with circuit court.

Probate judges in affected counties gain the same civil contempt punishment powers as circuit court judges, including those granted under Section 12-11-30 and common law.

Applies to cases involving estate administration, trust administration, guardianship, and conservatorship proceedings originally filed in probate court.

Maintains existing probate court contempt authority for fines not exceeding $20.00 and imprisonment not exceeding 24 hours for contempts against the court or its process.

Becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor.
