Amends Section 27-25-3 of the Alabama Code to exempt licensed attorneys from State Insurance Department licensure requirements when serving as title insurance agents.

Licensed attorneys admitted to practice in Alabama are excluded from the definition of "title agent" and are not subject to regulation under the title insurance chapter.

Attorneys licensed by the Alabama State Bar may perform title insurance functions including soliciting business, collecting premiums, determining insurability, and issuing commitments and policies without separate title insurance agent licensing.

Becomes effective immediately upon passage and gubernatorial approval or upon otherwise becoming law.
