AL HB142

Authorizes nonresident students aged 17-23 enrolled full-time at Alabama institutions of higher education to purchase resident hunting, fishing, or combination licenses at resident rates.

Eligible nonresident students receive the same privileges as resident license holders but cannot purchase lifetime resident hunting or fishing licenses.

Applies to noncommercial resident licenses issued under Chapters 11 and 12 of Alabama Code.

Requires nonresident students to submit proof of student status according to rules adopted by the Commissioner of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.

Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
