• Creates a program allowing authorized entities (recreation camps, colleges, day care facilities, restaurants, amusement parks, sports arenas, and workplaces) to stock epinephrine auto-injectors prescribed by medical practitioners for use in anaphylaxis emergencies.

• Permits trained employees or agents of authorized entities to provide or administer epinephrine auto-injectors to individuals experiencing severe allergic reactions, regardless of prior allergy diagnosis or prescription status.

• Requires initial anaphylaxis training and recertification every two years for individuals handling epinephrine auto-injectors, covering recognition of allergic reactions, storage/administration procedures, and emergency follow-up.

• Provides immunity from civil and criminal liability for authorized entities, their employees, medical practitioners, pharmacists, and training providers for actions taken under this program, except in cases of willful or wanton conduct.

• Requires authorized entities to report all epinephrine auto-injector administration incidents to the Department of Public Health, which must publish annual summaries of these reports.
