Mandates health care facilities to report all gunshot wounds and stabbings to local police departments or county sheriff's offices without requiring patient written authorization.

Requires reports to be made orally or in writing within 72 hours of a patient presenting to the facility, with oral reports documented in facility records.

Supersedes doctor-patient privilege and all other state law privileges that would prevent reporting of gunshot wounds and stabbing injuries.

Exempts wounds received by Armed Forces members or law enforcement officers while performing official duties from reporting requirements.

Provides civil and criminal immunity for health care providers and facilities acting in good faith under this act, with enforcement limited to the Attorney General or district attorney.
