• Authorizes the Board to adopt rules defining and regulating pharmacy practice in ways that prioritize patient safety and wellness, even if such rules are anti-competitive.

• Immunizes the Board of Pharmacy and its members from liability under state and federal anti-trust laws for adopting anti-competitive rules that prioritize patient safety and wellness.

• Board rules may supplement or clarify statutory definitions of pharmacy practice but cannot conflict with existing statutes defining the practice of pharmacy.

• Becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor.
