Proposes a constitutional amendment to allow elected and appointed Fayette County officials to participate in the Employees' Retirement System instead of a supernumerary program.

Prohibits any person elected or appointed sheriff, or any elected or appointed Fayette County official from assuming a supernumerary office after the amendment's effective date.

Allows persons currently entitled to participate in a supernumerary program to continue participating under existing terms and conditions.

Permits Fayette County officials holding office at ratification to purchase service credit in the Employees' Retirement System for their time served in the current office.

Excludes judges, district attorneys, constables, legislators, school board members, and officials elected from judicial circuits from the amendment's provisions.
