Applies only to the City of Glencoe in Etowah and Calhoun Counties.

Authorizes the city governing body to call an election by resolution to determine whether voters support allowing the sale and distribution of alcoholic beverages on Sundays within the city.

Election shall be held following standard municipal election procedures with at least three weeks' notice, and costs paid from the city's general fund.

If a majority of qualified city voters vote "Yes," properly licensed retail licensees of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board may legally sell or dispense alcoholic beverages on Sundays subject to city council regulation by ordinance.

Act becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor.
