• County commission may call elections for unincorporated areas by resolution, with voting limited to qualified unincorporated area voters; a majority vote "Yes" permits Sunday alcohol sales regulated by county ordinance.

• Elections must be held at least 30 days after resolution passage, with notice given at least 3 weeks prior; election costs paid from general municipal or county funds.

• A subsequent election on the same issue cannot be held within 12 months following a previous election; the act becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval.
