Honors the life and legacy of Mr. Robert Edwin "Bobby" Cooper, who passed away on March 12, 2016, at 58 years of age.

Cooper was born April 17, 1957, to James E. and Nell M. Cooper and worked over 10 years for The Macon County Water Authority before employment with Walnut Hill Water Department.

He became owner/operator of the family business, Floral Park Motel, in 1998 after his mother's passing and hosted musicians from across the country alongside his wife Vivian.

Survivors include his wife Vivian M. Cooper, daughter Christi Cooper, granddaughter Emma Stallions, and lifelong friends including Willi "Uncle Jr." Cox, Melvin "Fats" Clark, and John Brandt.

The Alabama Legislature expresses gratitude for Cooper's abundant life and extends heartfelt sympathy to his family and friends.
