Creates a joint study committee to examine the roles, functions, finances, and efficiencies of the offices of State Auditor, State Treasurer, and Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries.

Committee membership consists of all members of the House Constitution, Campaigns, and Elections Committee and the Senate Committee on Constitution, Ethics, and Elections.

Three subcommittees shall be formed at the first meeting, with each subcommittee assigned to study one of the three offices, and each subcommittee shall elect a chair and vice chair.

Committee shall report findings and recommendations to the Speaker of the House and President Pro Tempore of the Senate no later than the fifth legislative day of the 2017 Regular Session, after which the committee dissolves.

Members receive regular legislative compensation, per diem, and travel expenses for meeting attendance, paid from appropriated legislative funds by comptroller warrant on the State Treasury.
