Recognizes and commends the Tuskegee Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, on the occasion of its 2016 Founders Day Celebration on February 11, 2016.

Honors Reverend Janae Pitts-Murdock, Southern Regional Chaplain of Delta Sigma Theta, who serves Alabama, The Bahamas, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, and Tennessee as the featured guest speaker.

Acknowledges Reverend Pitts-Murdock's educational background including a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Master of Divinity from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio.

Notes the Tuskegee Alumnae Chapter was chartered as Zeta Beta Alumnae Chapter on December 5, 1922, and has provided scholarships and community support for over 92 years.

Extends the legislature's admiration, appreciation, and best wishes to Reverend Pitts-Murdock and the chapter by copy of this resolution.
