Commends Dr. Samuel J. Strada, Dean of the University of South Alabama College of Medicine, for receiving the 2015 GoDaddy Bowl Champion of Life Award.

Recognizes Dr. Strada's 33 years of service at USA including roles as Professor and Chair of Pharmacology (since 1983), Senior Associate Dean, and various other leadership positions in medical education.

Acknowledges Dr. Strada's instrumental contributions to creating the USA Office of Technology Development, USA Office of Research Compliance and Assurance, and USA Technology and Research Park.

Notes his service as Chair of the Athletic Council and Faculty Athletic Representative to the NCAA and SunBelt Conference from 1990-1997, and his reputation as a successful dean, researcher, and community leader.

Directs copies of the resolution be sent to USA President Tony Waldrop and USA Board of Trustees Chair Pro Tempore Dr. Steven Furr.
