Frances Jean Bigsby Morris passed away on February 4, 2016, leaving a void in the lives of her family and friends.

Mrs. Morris was born August 9, 1940, in Anniston, Alabama, graduated from Cobb Avenue High School, and married Harold Morris with whom she reared five children.

She worked as a phlebotomist and laboratory technician for many years and pursued a career in cosmetology while serving her community with faith and dedication to caring for others.

Surviving family members include son Anthony C. Morris; daughters Valencia D. Van Buren, Pamela D. Morris, and Kathy E. Morris; 14 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and brother-in-law Eugene A. Freeman.

The House of Representatives records her death with deep sadness while celebrating her life and offering highest tribute and heartfelt sympathy to her family and friends.
