Recognizes the success of UAB Hospital's organ transplant program and encourages all Alabama citizens to become organ donors.

Acknowledges Angelynn Luckado, a Munford teenager with cystic fibrosis, who received a rare double-lung and heart transplant at UAB Hospital in November 2015, the first such patient to use extracorporeal life support as a bridge to this procedure and only the second reported case in history.

Honors Courtney Harris, a 26-year-old Alabama organ donor who brain dead at UAB Hospital in November 2015, whose organs saved and enriched the lives of others, including Angelynn Luckado.

Requests that copies of the resolution be presented to the families of Courtney Harris and Angelynn Luckado with highest praise and sincere best wishes.

Directs that UAB Hospital receive a copy of the resolution for display to recognize the medical staff's admiration and appreciation for their dedicated service in organ transplant and other life-saving procedures.
