Celebrates the life and legacy of Mrs. Theresa G. "Resi" Goines Stutts, who died on February 18, 2016, at 96 years of age.

Mrs. Stutts was born in Nanafalia, Alabama on December 24, 1919, worked as a homemaker and provided domestic services to her community.

She was a faithful member of Greater First Baptist Church in Thomasville, Alabama, and married John Willie Stutts, Sr. in 1941, with whom she had seven children.

Survivors include three daughters, one brother, one sister, 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

House of Representatives expresses gratitude for her abundant life and offers this resolution in tribute to her inspiring legacy and in sympathy to her family and friends.
