Commends J. T. Johnson of Monroeville, Alabama for his outstanding professional service to Monroe County and the State of Alabama.

Recognizes Mr. Johnson's volunteer service with the Monroe County Emergency Management Agency beginning in the late 1990s, including roles as volunteer deputy director, public information officer, communications officer, and Director of MCEMA since 2011.

Notes Mr. Johnson's involvement in Hurricane Ivan and Katrina response efforts, maintenance of county communication systems, participation in the Alabama Strategic Technology Reserve, and certifications as a certified local emergency manager and Federal Communications Commission licensed amateur extra class radio operator.

Acknowledges Mr. Johnson's appointment to the Alabama First Responders Wireless Commission by Governor Robert Bentley and his service on the Alabama Association of Emergency Managers Technology Committee.

Directs that a copy of this resolution be presented to Mr. Johnson in highest tribute.
