Commends Donald Braxton Worthington, a senior at Mortimer Jordan High School, for winning the 138 pound division State Wrestling Championship.

Worthington has a career varsity wrestling record of 256-21 and is a five-time state qualifier who placed second in the state in 2014 and 2015.

Began wrestling at age five with the Alabama Wrestling Club and is a three-time sectional champion.

Plans to attend University of Alabama at Birmingham with a 3.5 GPA and has completed dual enrollment coursework while mentoring and tutoring younger students.

The House of Representatives honors and commends Worthington for his exemplary diligence, commitment, and achievement reflecting honor upon the State of Alabama.
