Urges Congress to enact legislation establishing the Anniston Freedom Riders Park as a National Historic Park within the National Park System.

Recognizes Anniston's peaceful response to racial conflict during the 1960s Civil Rights Era through dialogue via a biracial Human Relations Council, in contrast to violence in other cities.

Acknowledges the Anniston Bus Burning as an internationally-known Civil Rights event and notes President John F. Kennedy commended Anniston's model approach to resolving racial conflict peacefully.

Recognizes Freedom Riders Park on Highway 202 as commemorating both the Bus Burning incident and the resulting progress in justice and fairness that brought peace to communities.

Directs the Alabama House of Representatives to provide copies of the resolution to Alabama's Congressional delegation for distribution to Congress demonstrating strong state support for the action.
