Honors Norman B. Wooding, III, for his singing legacy and contributions to gospel music in Alabama.

Recognizes Wooding's recorded iconic gospel songs "I've Been Dipped In The Water" and "He Knows How Much We Can Bear" and collaborations with groups including the Interfaith Youth Singers and Jeanette Bolden and the Spiritual Voices.

Notes Wooding developed a passion for music at age five and received an Honorary Doctorate of Traditional Gospel Music in 2005 and a Doctorate of Humanities in 2006.

States Wooding was born July 16, 1951, confessed Christ at age eight, and is a faithful member of St. John Baptist Church in Powderly.

The Alabama House of Representatives commends Norman B. Wooding, III, and extends sincere best wishes for continued blessings.
