Honors Vietnam veterans on "Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day" on March 30, 2016, and commemorates the anniversary of the withdrawal of United States troops from Vietnam on March 30, 1973.

Recognizes over 58,000 United States Armed Forces members who lost their lives in Vietnam, including 1,208 Alabama casualties.

Acknowledges that Vietnam veterans faced physical and emotional scars from combat and did not receive adequate care for many years upon returning home.

Notes that 7,103,000 Vietnam Era veterans were living as of September 30, 2015, with projections of 6,953,000 remaining by September 3, 2016.

Commends Vietnam veterans and their families with this resolution expressing deepest admiration, appreciation, and sincere best wishes for the future.
