Recognizes Dr. E. E. Rogers of Huntsville, Alabama on his 100th Birthday Celebration on June 25, 2016; he was born June 17, 1916.

Dr. Rogers has over 68 years of active service; he holds degrees from Oakwood Academy, Oakwood Junior College, Union College, SDA Theological Seminary, and Michigan State University.

Served as a professor at Oakwood College for 34 years beginning in 1945 and retired from his faculty position in 1979, while also serving as pastor to numerous churches and instructing church leaders and evangelists.

Was married to Mildred Strachan Rogers for 63 years and has three children, four grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren; in 2009 at age 93, he married Annell Wright.

The House of Representatives congratulates Dr. Rogers on reaching his 100th birthday milestone and extends sincere best wishes for continued prosperity.
