Leeds High School Varsity Football Team won a state championship during its first year competing in the 4A division and claimed its fourth state title overall.

Team defeated Fayette County in the Super 7 Championships on December 4, 2015, with back-to-back victories.

TaDarryl Marshall was selected as the game's MVP, and Head Coach Keith Etheredge provided leadership for the program.

House of Representatives honors and commends the team for demonstrating perseverance, stamina, sportsmanship, and athletic excellence.
