House of Representatives mourns the death of Mrs. Mary Lee Williams Scott, who died on July 24, 2015, at age 75.

Mrs. Scott was born January 22, 1939, in Talladega County, Alabama, and was a faithful member of Belview Missionary Baptist Church and the Talladega County Chapter of the NAACP.

She served as a foster parent and surrogate mother to students at Talladega College, worked with the church kitchen committee, and was employed by Crown Textile, Bemis Bag Company, and Mulinax Assisted Living.

Survivors include three sons, a special daughter, one daughter-in-law, six sisters, two brothers, 23 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren.

The resolution expresses gratitude for Mrs. Scott's abundant life and extends heartfelt sympathy to her family and friends.
