House Resolution celebrating the life and legacy of Mrs. Jane Vaughn Floyd of Gadsden, Alabama, who passed away January 28, 2016, at age 77.

Recognizes Mrs. Floyd's accomplishments as a remarkable educator with a 32-year teaching career and as a lawyer with more than 20 years of legal practice.

Notes Mrs. Floyd earned her Master's Degree from the University of Alabama in 1982 and attended the Birmingham School of Law.

Acknowledges her surviving family members including her husband Jack Floyd (former Senator), two sons, five grandchildren, and two brothers.

Expresses the House of Representatives' gratitude for Mrs. Floyd's abundant life and offers the resolution in tribute to her inspiring legacy and sympathy to her family and friends.
