Recognizes Mr. Jones was born in 1907, the same year as actors John Wayne, Gene Autry, and Robert Young.

Notes his service as a lifetime honorary deacon of First Baptist Church of Samson, two terms on Samson City Council, and service on the Geneva County Board of Education.

Commends Mr. Jones for his character, faith, and positive influence on his family, neighbors, and friends throughout his life.
