Posthumously honors Ralph R. Harris, Sr., for his selection to the Alabama Agriculture Pioneer Award.

Recognizes Harris's 35-year career as an Auburn University Department of Animal Science faculty member, where he taught many of the state's veterinarians.

Harris earned a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science in 1951 and Master's Degree in Animal Nutrition in 1952 from Alabama Polytechnic Institute, and later earned a doctorate from Texas A and M University.

Harris received multiple teaching awards including the College of Agriculture's Dean Award for Teaching Excellence, Mortar Board Honorary's Favorite Teacher Award, and induction into the Alabama Cattlemen's Association's Livestock Hall of Fame; he also served as Department of Animal Sciences head from 1993 to 1995 and completed 37 years of service in the Air Force Reserve as a Lieutenant Colonel.

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to his family, with Harris having passed away in April 2015 and survived by his wife Eleanor of 61 years, three children, and four grandchildren.
