Honors Stanley P. Wilson for his induction into the Auburn University Agricultural Alumni Association Hall of Honor in recognition of his agricultural advancements in education and government.

Wilson earned a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Sciences from Alabama Polytechnic Institute in 1953, a Master's Degree in 1958, and a doctoral degree in animal genetics from Oklahoma State University in 1961.

Held leadership positions at Purdue University as Director of the Pioneering Research Laboratory in Quantitative Genetics and served as Auburn University's Vice President for Agriculture, Home Economics, and Veterinary Medicine beginning in 1980.

Upon his retirement in 2001, Wilson donated 42 head of Angus cattle and all farm equipment to Auburn's College of Agriculture Beef Teaching Unit, which was named in his honor.

The House of Representatives honors and commends Stanley Wilson and directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to him in highest tribute.
