SB118 Summary

• Exempts Upper Sand Mountain United Methodist Larger Parish Incorporated from paying or collecting all state, county, and municipal sales and use taxes.

• Applies to sales and use taxes that range from 1.5 to 4 percent of gross proceeds of sales or consumption of tangible personal property and operations of places of amusement or entertainment.

• Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
