Removes the prohibition against deputy sheriffs practicing law under Section 34-3-14 of the Code of Alabama 1975.

Maintains existing prohibitions on judges, sheriffs, circuit court clerks, registers, and probate court clerks from practicing law.

Updates gender-specific language in the statute to use "or she" and "or her" for inclusive reference.

Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor, or upon becoming law otherwise.
